What type of boats do you rent?
We specialize in renting Pontoon Boats, perfect for groups of all sizes. Our boats are spacious, easy to navigate, and ideal for exploring the local Gulf waters, including The Flats.
Do I need a boating license to rent a boat?
In Florida, if you were born after January 1, 1988, you must have a Florida Boating Safety Education Identification Card or an equivalent certificate from another state to operate a motorized vessel. If you don’t have one, we can guide you through the process of completing the safety course.
Where can I take the boat?
You are free to explore the beautiful Gulf Coast, including the popular nearby chain of islands known as “The Flats.” We’ll provide tips on routes and spots to explore, so you can make the most of your trip.
How long is a typical rental?
We offer flexible full-day rentals. Be sure to reserve in advance to secure the time that works best for you!
Is there a speed limit I should follow?
Yes, Hernando Beach is a designated no-wake zone, meaning no speeds higher than 3-4 mph as you return to the dock area. This helps ensure the safety of other boaters and protects the surrounding wildlife. You can resume speed in the channel and open gulf.
What should I bring with me?
We recommend bringing sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, towels, drinks, snacks, and a cooler. You’ll also need a valid ID and a copy of your Boating Safety Card if applicable.
Do you provide safety equipment?
Yes, we provide all required safety gear, including life jackets for all adult passengers 90 pounds or over. You will need to bring a Coast Guard approved life jacket for younger children and infants.
Can we swim off the boat?
Absolutely! Many of our customers enjoy anchoring near The Flats to swim and relax in the shallow waters. Please exercise caution and always stay aware of your surroundings.
What happens if there’s bad weather?
Your safety is our priority. If it is life-threatening and cancellation is on our end, we do provide the full refund at this point. If you cancel for any reason, you must do it 24 hours in advance. We do charge a 25.00 cancellation fee. Rescheduling within a 25-hour notice is allowed
How do I book a boat?
You can easily book a boat through our website or by giving us a call. We recommend reserving early, especially during peak seasons.
